This collection is composed of the Southern and Northern SKR phase systems derived from Cassini/RPWS/HFR (Radio and Plasma Waves Science / High Frequency Receiver) measurements, as described in Lamy (2011).
This collection is part of the Cassini/RPWS/HFR LESIA/Kronos Collection (https://doi.org/10.25935/1SXH-AQ56).
The detailed content is described on the dedicated LESIA/Kronos SKR Periodicities page.
The data collection contains yearly ASCII files (also available in VOTable format) of the Southern and Northern SKR phase systems derived from Cassini/RPWS/HFR (Radio and Plasma Waves Science / High Frequency Receiver) measurements, as described in Lamy (2011).
Content
The collection is composed of 8 plain ASCII files (19.3 MB) containing data as described below:
The Phi_N and Phi_S are the Northern and Southern phases at the current time. The Phase system is adjusted such as the SKR emission intensity peaks at Phi=0. The Drift_N and Drift_S are peak phases in a fixed periodicity frame, set to 10.7928 h and 10.6 h for the Southern and Northern sources, respectively).
