Description

This collections contains one NenuFAR observation with Jupiter tracking. The original observation (OBS_ID) is referenced as 20200915_152200_20200915_232700_JUPITER_TRACKING, and has been planned by the ES07 (Jupiter Studies) NenuFAR Early Science Key Project.

  • The nenufar/ directory contains the low resolution BST (Beam Statistics) files, with the data provided in FITS format.
  • The nenufar-tf/ contains the high resolution dynamic spectra mode. The data file (.spectra) is a 12 GB binary file. This file can be processed with the nenupy library.

Coverage and sampling

  • Target: Jupiter
  • Time range: 2020-09-15 15:22:00 to 2020-09-15 23:27:00
  • Time resolution: 84 ms
  • Spectral range: 9.96 to 37.89 MHz
  • Spectral résolution: 12.2 kHz
